Why?

Andrew has learned a new word. Why? He will ask you over and over again. He discovered this word on Thursday (or at least how to use it correctly) and I am really ready for him to give it up!
Here is one of the conversations Andrew and I had today...

What doing Mommy?
Going to the mall Andrew.
Why?
I need some new makeup.
Why?
Because I am out of makeup.
Why?
Because I used it all up.
Why?
Because I wear it everyday.
Why?
Because I need it.
Why?
Because it makes my face look better.
Why?
Because that is what make up does.
Why?
Because girl's faces look better with makeup.
Why?
Because it covers the bad spots.
Why?
Because that is what make up does.
Why?
Because that's how they made it.
Why?
I don't know. I guess they thought women would look better with make up.
Why?
I don't know.
Oh.

This was just one of the many today. He will go on and on and on with the why? why? why?! It is really pretty funny, but it will really drive you crazy! And I don't know for an answer doesn't always work. He'll keep on asking!

"has"...not "as"

I dread the "why" stage. Penny asks what things are all the time, even things that she obviously knows what they are. ("Food? What's food?" Seriously, child?) Drives me crazy.

We've about decided on a house in Highland Knolls, so we'll be so much closer for playdates! :)
