My Mother's Day gift from Andrew! He made me a card and gave me a plant. I love it! I also love that the kids got to go and visit Mimi and Grandad that weekend. It was nice and relaxing!
Miss Madelyn hunting eggs. She is just getting so big! She had her 18 month well-check on the 13th. She is 24 pounds and......I don't remember the rest of her stats. I am pretty sure I wrote them down...somewhere! She is just the sweetest thing...and clingy and whiney, but I'm sure that is just a phase!
She is a busy girl. She climbs on whatever she can and just runs wild. She gives Andrew a run for his money for sure!
Andrew found a ton of eggs! They were also all full of M&M's, which he proceeded to gobble up. I had to finally take them away and put them up on the counter where he can't get to them. I was finding M&M wrappers all over the house!
Andrew is REALLY REALLY REALLY into Thomas the Train. Honestly, I love that he has found something he enjoys so much. He will play for hours by himself! I have had to ban Jason and Andrew going to Wal-Mart together though. Every time they go Andrew convinces Jason to buy him a new train!
Aunt Emily came to visit from California. I was glad she came over and got to spend some time with Andrew and Madelyn. She hadn't seen them since Christmas and they have really changed a lot since then!
We've had a couple of cookouts with the Hinds and the Browns. We are going to be sad when the Browns move to St. Louis next month. Murdoch was helping to push Madelyn on the swing. They both loved it!
Andrew had Caravan Graduation last Sunday night, where he proceded to royal embarrass me and cause Jason to "sweat more than he ever has in church." (direct quote) Andrew started off pretty well, but then the music came on and it was time for him to sing and dance. Wow. I know he didn't get that rhythm from me! It was so funny! Then, he couldn't sit still and was rolling across the stage and poking people around him. I finally had to get up and take him off stage. That was fun...
He did get to go up and get his badges. He did really well for that, until they were walking off stage and he grabbed the microphone. Thankfully, the teacher caught it before he started to sing his solo! We've got our hands full with that one, but I think Little Sister is going to be even more of a handful! When I learn how to upload videos I will show it.So, that is what we have been up to these days. Tonight is our Pre-K graduation. This is my first class of Pre-K kids that I have been with for the entire year! I am pretty excited about it!
