For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10
Helping Mommy Clean
Andrew has found a new love....helping me clean! I couldn't be happier about it, because I love to clean! He enjoys getting a rag and carring it around with a bottle of cleaner (I watch him so he doesn't get into it and it is closed). He is so proud of himself when he does it. He'll dust anything- the walls, the furniture, tables, chairs, the floor, the cats, you name it! Since we were homebound for the last week Andrew and I did some serious cleaning. He was a good helper....most of the time!
Cabin Fever
Here are a few pictures from our Winter Wonderland.

Sweet Tooth
So most of you know that Andrew has a big time sweet tooth! I think he gets that from me! I decided that I would let him have a cupcake that I made. He ended up eating two of them! He has started saying "eat" when he is hungry. So he kept saying "eat, eat, eat, eat" after he finished the first cupcake. He also said that after he finished the second cupcake, but he didn't get a third!
A New Toy
Exhausted Little Boy
Yesterday we had Andrew's 15 month check up. He is 16 months old, but I didn't realize that he would be 15 months in December and made the appointment for January. I figured it would probably be easier to keep my scheduled appointment then reschedule. Andrew is doing great. He weighs 24 lbs. 2.3 ozs. and is 29" long. His head is also 29 and hasn't grown in the last couple of months which is good since it was so big. On the way home he passed out in the car. He hasn't been taking a nap during the day so he was worn out. I laid him on the couch and he didn't move for thirty minutes until I woke him up.
Pop Knot
Andrew was playing in the living room near the coffee table. He was trying to grab something and tripped over my leg (I feel a little guilty) and he fell over and bumped his head on the coffee table. It left a pretty big knot on his forehead. He was pretty upset. He has a tigger cold pack that we put on his head. Thankfully, his grandad was here to take care of him!
Early Valentine
Today Jason took Andrew with him to run a few errands so I could get some housework done. They were gone for quite a while and I was able to get the kitchen cleaned and part of the house vaccumed. Yea! When they got back I was upstairs checking on blogs because there is this blog that I read, Kelly's Korner, and she is just an awesome person who has struggled with infertility and finally got pregnant with a baby girl named Harper. Harper was born yesterday and has pneumonia. They had to airlift her to Tulsa to St. Francis where she is in the NICU. Things are looking better for her, but she's not completely out of the woods yet. I just feel so bad for their family. They just seem like amazing people. I wish I knew them personally. Check out her blog to read more about them. After I filled them in on what was happening with Kelly, Jason started rambling on about a Valentine gift that he and Andrew had gotten me (obviously on this outing). He kept asking if I wanted it now and I said I didn't care, I could wait. This didn't seem to satisfy him, so he ended up giving me my Valentine- drumroll please- a NEW CAMERA!!!! I had been complaining about mine being to slow at taking pictures. With such an active guy I need one that you hit the button and it takes right then. I also wanted a more professional camera. So it's a Canon Power Shot SX10IS. It just came on the market in November of 08, so it's a new model. So far it's great! Here are some pictures from my photography session today!
Jay Bird On The Loose!
Tonight I was giving Andrew his bath and he was having a great time. He was being so sweet just playing and splashing. Then, we got out...
