Why did I not get the camera?

This morning Andrew informed me that he was now potty trained and he could wear his "unnerware" to school. I told him that part of being potty trained was actually GOING on the potty. He responded with his usual "oh" and proceeded to kick me as I tried to get his diaper on. I offered a pull-up (which have the absorbancy of a napkin) to see if that might make a difference. No, it didn't. Finally, I convinced him that he could wear the pull-up, but take his "unnerware" with him to school. Yes, I allowed him to carry his Bert and Ernie underware in his hand into school. Of course, we were late and every parent saw as the new director's son came in with underware not just in hand, but in his mouth. I explained the morning to about 15 people and informed them that the underware had just come from the dryer (not quite true, but they hadn't been on his bottom yet and they were clean). So, maybe today is the day that Andrew will decide to be potty trained! In the mean time, I wish I had a picture of the boy and his "unnerware" and his proud face as he ran into his classroom and held them up saying "look at Andrew's unnerware."

...my favorite part is that that's all he thought there was to potty training. If only it was that easy! :)
