Andrew's 2nd Birthday Party!

Andrew will be 2 years old on Tuesday! I can't believe it. It just doesn't seem right. We had his birthday party at our house on Saturday afternoon. I didn't really have a theme for this year's party, last year I did a safari theme. I was trying to think about what Andrew really loves and as most of you know, it's a vacuum! So, I had Rick's Bakery make a vaccum cake. It was the first vacuum cake they had ever made. It really turned out cute. We had Dickey's BBQ catered in. This was the best idea, because they delivered the food, set it up, and provided all the plates, napkins, cups, etc. It really was great, because I don't cook much and it just saved so much time and energy that I don't have a lot of these days. We invited friends and family and had a great turn out at the party. The weather cooperated great. It was a little humid, but it wasn't too hot to play outside. I think Andrew had a great time and so did we! Here are several pictures from the big day!

Andrew got a sit and spin that he enjoyed

Playing in the bouncy house with Will. Will is my assistant principal's son and he is four. He gives "baby Andrew" all his Razorback hand me downs and wants to teach him to play different sports!

Lots of fun!

The kids were very excited when Andrew opened his new t-ball set. They all wanted to help get it out of the box and play with it. Andrew had already played with it the night before. I wanted to see if he'd like it and he did. I wrapped it back up after he went to sleep!

Andrew decided that he'd rather mow then open his presents, so Connor helped me out!

Andrew and Connor playing with his gifts. I had a great time opening them! I love to open presents!

Another shot of the fabulous vacuum cake!

Singing Happy Birthday. The candle wouldn't light due to the wind.
This child loves cake!
It's better if you take your shoes off and smear icing all over your legs and feet!
At this point, he had stuck his feet into the cake and was licking it off his toes! I don't know what made him do that! It was sooo funny though. He had to go straight to the tub!
He came in after everyone left and was asking for his "hog" shirt. He spent the rest of the day wearing his new jersey and mowing the yard with his bubble mower. What a happy day for a two year old!

Amy - only you would get your kid a vacuum cake, lol.
I know, I know; he loves to help you clean! Jaxon is loving it too. I used to never clean around him but now I value his nap times too much to be slaving away over the mop and broom.
Happy birthday Andrew!
