All Aboard!

We went on the Christmas train ride from Springdale to Fayetteville one evening with about 200 people from our church! I was a little nervous, because Andrew was recovering from the stomach virus and I really didn't want him to get sick on the train! He perked up early in the afternoon and ate his dinner and was ready to go! The kids were supposed to wear their pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed animal. Andrew brought his guinea pig! I wore my pajamas too, because I wanted to be comfortable! Thank goodness I did, because this was a three hour train ride. I ended up walking back and forth with Madelyn, who started getting really sleepy around 8:00. I felt like I was on an airplane, but thankfully, I knew everyone on the train and they took turns entertaining her! Santa came for a visit a couple of different times and Andrew really enjoyed seeing him. He also liked the conductor. Jason and I decided that we were going to forego the train ride next year, but as we got in the car Andrew said, "That was a very good train!" So, we decided that we'd do it again...but, we're bringing lots of snacks!
