Because I Haven't Said Much...

I am starting to feel guilty because I haven't said much at all about baby #2. Since Andrew is spending a few days (ok a week) with his grandparents as I start back to work and since his school doesn't start until Wednesday, this pregnancy has taken center stage since my boy is gone. I miss him like crazy. I didn't realize how much of my life is consumed by him! I can't wait for him to come back, but I've been really productive since he's not here. See, I'm doing it again- Andrew is just the star of my show these days! Ok, baby #2! Did I mention that she has a name? It's Madelyn Claire. We really like it and I am hoping that it will fit her as well as Andrew's name fits him. We've gotten her bedding. It's really cute! It's black and white print with big pink flowers and green vines on it. Her furniture is ordered and should be in when I reach 32 weeks- the same time A's furniture came it...I hope it's not a curse! For those of you who don't know, the day we got A's furniture was the day I went into early labor and delivered him! The big project right now is getting the current bedroom furniture out of her room. We're working to sale it on craigslist and we've had a few inquiries, but nothing has come of it. If you know anyone in the market for bedroom furniture at a bargain price let us know! As of the last few months I have been feeling great! I don't know if it's because I'm so excited that we're having a girl or what, but I'm glad to be feeling good. I started back to work this week and so far so good! Yea! I like getting back to work. I love the beginning of the school year and I'm hoping that I can make it further into this year. I have been diligently working on my long term sub plans so they will be ready to go- they weren't for Andrew and that was stressful. I'm hoping to be overprepared this time! I go to the doctor on Sept. 1 and he is going to start checking to make sure that I'm not dialating or anything like that. My job is just to be careful- no heavy lifting or strenuous activity (I'm really sad about that :)) and just sit down when I'm tired and not overdo it. So basically things are going good. I'm looking forward to having a girl to dress up. My friend Lindsey makes some really cute things for babies- tutus, onesies, bows, all kinds of stuff. I have a link to her site Kicks and Giggles. She just made an adorable Razorback outfit! I wish I could put it on Andrew for football season, but I don't think that he'd look so good in frilly red polka dot pants! I'll have to wait until next year for Madelyn I guess!

Andrew is having fun at Mimi and Granddad's. We'll try not to spoil him. He loves to swim and play with the water hose. He has all my bar stools turned upside down right now pushing them across the floor.

We enjoyed visiting with Andrew. He is so much fun. We are praying for you as the school year starts. I still feel funny this time of year not to be getting a school room ready. Also, for a healthy baby and problem-free pregnancy. I'm glad you're feeling better!

I love her name. Andrew will be a great big brother from what I could tell by the way he was keeping Annie entertained in the photo. God has blessed all of us with two precious (grandchildren) children. Andrew will have lots of practice saying her name by the time she arrives. Andrew and Madelyn so proud to have grandchildren and a honor to be a Nana. Thanks Jase and Amy you both are great parents.
