Early Valentine

Today Jason took Andrew with him to run a few errands so I could get some housework done. They were gone for quite a while and I was able to get the kitchen cleaned and part of the house vaccumed. Yea! When they got back I was upstairs checking on blogs because there is this blog that I read, Kelly's Korner, and she is just an awesome person who has struggled with infertility and finally got pregnant with a baby girl named Harper. Harper was born yesterday and has pneumonia. They had to airlift her to Tulsa to St. Francis where she is in the NICU. Things are looking better for her, but she's not completely out of the woods yet. I just feel so bad for their family. They just seem like amazing people. I wish I knew them personally. After I filled them in on what was happening with Kelly, Jason started rambling on about a Valentine gift that he and Andrew had gotten me (obviously on this outing). He kept asking if I wanted it now and I said I didn't care, I could wait. This didn't seem to satisfy him, so he ended up giving me my Valentine- drumroll please- a NEW CAMERA!!!! I had been complaining about mine being to slow at taking pictures. With such an active guy I need one that you hit the button and it takes right then. I also wanted a more professional camera. So it's a Canon Power Shot SX10IS. It just came on the market in November of 08, so it's a new model. So far it's great! Here are some pictures from my photography session today!
